To say that Dawnelle is a survivor would be to minimize her accomplishments. Dawnelle is a victorious and amazingly accomplished woman who is not only succeeding at setting goals and achieving them but is sharing her story with the rest of us to help us to thrive, too. No matter the level of trauma and abuse you have experienced in life, reading Dawnelle’s inspirational true story will inspire you that breaking the pattern is possible, and that success is only a series of brave steps away.

Dawnelle Davis’s book, “The Evolution of Strength,” is raw, compelling, and cathartic in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I
could not put this book down! Her brave retelling of her abusive relationship and how she rose out of the ashes to create a life of
love and peace is healing to the soul and provides a goal-oriented approach to surviving even the hardest times in life. Every woman that has survived an abusive relationship should read this book! It was haunting while inspiring to imagine the journey this author navigated through to get to where she is today for herself and her children. I will recommend this book for many generations to women and men who need a lifeline and a plan to get through hard times and create a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
This is a must read. At times for me I had to stop and breathe. Dawnelle’s story is so compelling often times I had to remind myself this is not fiction. This is/was her life. It is real, raw, transparent, and enlightening. I believe most don’t even know when they are in an abusive relationship when it starts. Or we don’t want to admit it. Knowing the signs is very important. I’d urge everyone to pick
up a copy. Give a copy. And a copy to share. You may save a life. You may save yours. Everyone deserves to be happy and to have
peace in their life. I commend Ms Davis courage to tell her story and thank her for sharing it with the world.
